INTER STATE KARATE AND KOBUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS - UDYAWARA

Kobudo budokan karate conducted an inter state karate and kobudo championships on 12th and 13th november here at Udyawara, Udupi.
Male kata grand champioship - Harsha Bhagwath

ALL INDIA BUDOKAN KARATE FEDERATION - 29TH NATIONAL OPEN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS






Institute Of Karate And Allied Arts conducted a national level open karate and kobudo championships at udupi. 





Former union minister and chief patron, Subhash Maharia, inaugurated the championship at a function presided over by local MLA, K Raghupati Bhat.  Ramvir Ajriwal from New Delhi, Ramanathan, chief executive officer of Tebma Shipyard Malpe, town municipal president, Kiran Kumar, AIBKF chairman, Hanumanth Rao, president of Malpe Fishermen’s Association, Hiriyanna T Kediyoor, president of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Fisheries Federation, Yashpal Suvarna, and many others were present. Institute of Karate and Allied Arts was represented by its secretary, K Anand Devadiga, and others.Kiran Marshall, grand champion, administered the oath. Chief instructor, Pravin Kumar, welcomed. Dr Bhamini Rao and Abraham presented the programme. Shivanand Salian proposed vote of thanks.

29th All India Budokan Karate Federation - Open Karate Championship - 2011



29th All India Budokan Karate Federation - Open Karate Championship - 2011will be held on 18th, 19th & 20th November 2011at Indoor Stadium, Udupi. There will be a Technical Seminar for all the Budokan Instructors and Black Belts on 17th November 2011 at Devadigara Sabha Bhavan, Chitpady, Udupi which is compulsory for all coaches and officials of the Federation.

SURATHKAL - STATE LEVEL INTER DOJO KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP

The 22nd State Level Inter Dojo Karate Championship of IKAA was held on 27th & 28th August 2011, at Vidyadayini Kala Mandir, Vidyadayini High School, Surathkal, Mangalore. The tournament was organised by Sensei Srinivas Rao of Surathkal Dojo. More than 700 karatekas took part in this competition. The Overall Championship went to the Bangalore who retained the title. Second place was bagged by Bhuvanendra Residential School, Shirthady, Moodbidri. Third place went to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan dojo, Mangalore. The Male Grand Champion Title was bagged by Sharath Kumar of Paniyoor Dojo whereas the Female Grand Champion went to Priya Kulal of Mangalore.
